Special Presentation by John Harradine

Relationship Dynamics – What are you pretending not to notice?

John has more than 30 years professional experience working with people in both personal and business settings. He has learned that recognising and honouring individual differences is an essential pre-requisite of any effective counselling, coaching or therapeutic endeavour. John explains:

Relationships represent the greatest challenge to our happiness as well as the greatest opportunity to grow and find deep fulfilment. This is the case whether the relationship is a marriage, a partnership, from our original family or even a close friendship.

John has developed an approach for working with clients that explores the unseen patterns often missed by counsellors and clients alike. He suggests that:

Relationships are for a reason, a season, or a lifetime and sometimes all three.  Asking: ‘how do I do this relationship?’ before answering: ‘if I am in this relationship and what level am I in it?’ is a common flaw many make. Understanding the deeper ecology underpinning what is being presented is crucial to successfully navigating any relationship.

In his presentation John will describe the relationship stages Attraction, Imbalance, Disconnection, Commitment and Lasting, as contain some intriguing concepts. “These stages are not linear with clients often traversing multiple stages simultaneously burying less obvious and hampering dynamics.”

We look forward to hearing John’s insight on relationship dynamics. For more information take a look at John’s website http://jeharrad.wix.com/john-harradine.
