James Childs

Sub-conscious Mind Healing

James worked for many years as a professional Mechanical Engineer.  8 years ago James developed Hydrocephalus which squashes the brain.  Shortly after having his first Shunt implanted in his brain, James experienced bleeding on the brain where his brain was squashed to half it’s normal size and James almost died.  Following this serious incident James was left with a short term memory deficit which prevented James from continuing his Engineering career.  A period of rehabilitation followed and this led to a new career direction into Hypnotherapy and Counselling.

When working with clients using Hypnotherapy, James has found that the success rate can vary greatly between clients and he has identified this variation to resistance from the subconscious mind.  From this finding James has pursued use of subconscious mind healing which he feels is an under-utilized area of Hypnotherapy.

Your subconscious mind is essentially what is running your life.  It affects your life in ways you quite often are unaware of and this can involve feelings such as anxiety, nervousness, hurt, fear, anger, guilt etc.  RRP is a wonderful technique that identifies where in the past a traumatic experience occurred that is causing disruption in your adult life.  It is based on the assumption that emotional disorders arise from the presence of dissociated distressed ego states formed during traumatic experiences in childhood which we are largely or completely unaware of.  It detects these ego states and reintegrates them into the prime personality, resolving previous subconscious conflicts and alleviating symptoms.

We look forward to seeing you at our July meeting and learning more about James’ work.
