Supervision is for members only.

Bio of Presenter – Nicole Cameron

I am a qualified Social Worker obtaining my degree at the University of Newcastle in 1998. Since then I have worked as a social worker in the Department of Juvenile Justice, NSW Health and Non-government sectors. I also worked overseas as a child protection social worker for 14 years in London. Over the past 10 years I have held leadership positions.

Currently I am a Team Leader with Newcastle Family Support and am responsible for three teams; Staying Home Leaving Violence, Family Skills & Men’s Project. The Staying Home Leaving Violence team supports women and children who have experienced domestic violence. The Family Skills team collaborates with other agencies in developing and delivering group work programs and the Men’s project provide support to father’s and their families and has designated worker supporting separated dads.

I am a member of the Newcastle Domestic Violence Committee.
