Professional Individualised Care Model (PIC)

Work with one young person in your own home for a professional wage

Jesse Gardiner (Case Coordinator) will be visiting our November meeting to share about the model, and more information can be found at:

Professional Individualised Care (PIC) is a new youth organisation, providing a new option for disadvantaged young people within the NSW Out-of-Home Care sector. In very brief, it matches one young person with one Professional Therapeutic Carer (PTC) in the PTC’s own home. Importantly all PTCs are professional people, Qualified and Experienced workers and practitioners (Psychologists, Counsellors, Social Workers, Youth Workers etc), and are paid a Full-time professional wage to provide this one-on-one care to the young person in their own home. It is based on a German model that has been operating successfully for over 25 years.

Please sign in at the Bar as per Bowling Club requirements upon entry to the club premises

A light lunch for the November 2017 meeting will be served from 11.45am and our normal meeting will commence at 12.30pm.

Drinks and snacks are also available at the Bar at members and guests own cost.

Refreshments will be provided for afternoon tea, however for the November 2017 meeting, any hot beverages will be at members and guest own cost.
