Healthy Sense of Self Worth

Michelle Sparkes is a health professional and author with lived experience of anorexia and EDNOS in her teen and early adult years.  A long-term recovered 'survivor' and 'thriver' of these disorders she now specialises in helping others find freedom from these health and life consuming problems.

Author of Illuminating Anorexia and Founder of Women Worth their Weight, Michelle also provides a free iTunes podcast and YouTube channel to educate and support individuals struggling in the eating disorder space.

To know our worth and value at a deep level sets us up to do life in ways that are health-promoting and life-affirming.  We all have different experiences growing up and some people appear to have better “foundations” than others, but the storms of life hit us all at various times, and when they do, we have an opportunity to see what we’re basing our worth upon and to sink our roots deeper into eternal truths that don’t change.

Michelle will share with you her own experiences and then provide the opportunity of facilitated discussion on the topic of ‘A Healthy Sense of Self Worth’.
