Presenter: Doug Sotheren
Doug's experience includes over 25,000 hours of counselling and thousands of hours of intensive group training for counsellors and other health professional throughout Australia. He has been involved in training Relationship Counsellors since the late 1970’s. He is a Clinical Member and Registered Supervisor of Australian Association of Relationship Counsellors, a Life Member of Christian Counsellors Association, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has a BA in Sociology and an M.Th. with focus on the family systems.
More and more couples are presenting with issues involving pornography and its effect on their relationship. This presentation looks at definitions and statistics on pornography use, the way it affects relationships and ways of working therapeutically with these couples.
